Big Problem

Don’t tell G-d about how big your problems are. Tell your problems about how big your G-d is!

Peace, Peace and there is No Peace

How can PEACE be FORCED? The two are opposites! Peace can only be given and received. And True Peace is available for all who really desire it. Each of us is responsible to find it for ourselves— Israelis, Arabs and everyone else in the world.

Unbelievable.Unconditional.

In honor of my husband George today, on his 40th birthday, I’d like to share with you a true story.

Among many things George has taught me over the years,  the single most important is that there REALLY IS such a thing as unconditional love. His love for me doesn’t hinge on how stubborn I am about a certain thing or how hormonal I am that week. He loves me. And nothing can get in the way of that love. He’s even said to me when I was at my WORST — “So you think you’re gonna get me to leave you? I’m not leaving, I don’t care WHAT you do!” His love for me has been hardly conceivable at times, but trulylife changing.

Yes, my husband is an extraordinary man, and to my single lady friends~ I encourage you never to compromise. But even more importantly— if a man can love that way, how much more does his Creator? G-d’s mercies are new every morning. He loves us with an everlasting love. Run to Him. Cling to Him. He will get you through.

Friends, with war again on the brink here in the middle east, please get informed. This is a good explanation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAuBc_cbXo0&sns=em

Three Things

Three things my heart cries out for as this world gets colder and colder: Truth, Obedience and Unconditional Love.

Countless Blessings

To all of you who are praying for Israel, THANK YOU! You have no idea what this means to us. May countless blessings be poured out upon you and your families. The effective, fervent prayer of the righteous avails much!

I hope you know…

This was not an accident. You were not a mass produced assembly-line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, wonderfully made and thoughtfully positioned here by the
One who loves you with an everlasting love. Yes. You were. And furthermore, you were built to fight and overcome the elements that come against us here on this earth. You have a divine purpose and the strength to press on toward it! There is reason to live today — DON’T GIVE UP!

Hmm. Disappearing Act

Isaiah 53 should be part of this week’s reading among Jewish people around the world. Unfortunately, it will be overlooked entirely. Hmm. If you have never read Isaiah 53, or even if you have, I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Shabbat Shalom lekoolam!

True or False?

Mark Twain once said, A lie can travel halfway around the world, while the truth still is putting on it’s shoes.
Wow. Sadly, it’s so true. To say that the TRUTH has had a hard time getting it’s shoes on here in Israel would be a gross understatement. So many events happening here that are not being reported by mainstream media — I lost count a long time ago. I do know one thing though. My hope is not in the media — it’s not in the economy. It’s not in any man. My hope is in G-d alone. And I will trust in Him. Will you? ~Thoughts from the Negev :)
